NEW SEAWALL VS. POST REPLACEMENTS

Find the seawall solution that best fits the condition of your shoreline and your project needs.

POST REPLACEMENT

post replacement wall.jpg

A new seawall provides long-term protection and stability for your shoreline while giving your waterfront a clean, finished appearance. Our new seawall installations replace the existing structure with a newly constructed system designed for lasting durability and performance. For a more customized look, optional bumper board is available in treated lumber or composite.

Explore our new seawall options.

Post replacement may be an alternative for seawalls that are still in good overall condition but have deteriorating support posts. This process involves cutting approximately a 2' x 2' section of concrete to access the existing posts, replacing them with new steel posts, and patching the concrete afterward. While post replacement can help extend the life of an existing seawall, it does not address deterioration in other portions of the structure or provide the same benefits as a newly constructed seawall.

A more traditional roof style that can be customized with siding, soffit, shingles, and finishes to complement your home.

Creates an additional outdoor living space above your dock. Available with treated lumber or composite decking and your choice of cable or traditional railing. This option is available for dug-in docks only.

LIFT OPTIONS

Explore lift configurations designed for different watercraft and waterfront needs.

Fully decked lifts are a popular option for double and one-and-a-half docks. A full-size lift can be decked on one side of a double dock, while the half lift on a one-and-a-half dock can be decked to create additional usable space. Fully decked lifts can be finished with treated lumber or composite decking and used as a swim platform or for jet ski storage with the addition of jet ski bunks.

ABOUT THE TEAM

BUMPER BOARD OPTIONS

Choose between composite or treated lumber bumper boards to protect and finish the exposed edge of your seawall.

COMPOSITE BUMPER BOARD

Composite bumper boards provide a durable, low-maintenance finish for your seawall. Made from marine-grade composite material, they are resistant to rot, mold, and mildew and are available in black or gray.

TREATED LUMBER

Treated lumber is our most cost-effective bumper board option and provides a traditional, natural finish along the seawall.
