The Ruhlin Company has utilized Shoreline's services at both Buckeye Lake and Portage Lake on the Dam Improvement Projects.
"The Ruhlin Company first worked with Shoreline Construction and Excavating on Phase 1 of Buckeye Lake Dam Improvement Project. This phase of the project was working under an emergency declaration by ODNR and the Core of Engineers, so needless to say it was fast paced. Anytime you bring a new team member to a job like this, there is always some hesitation since you don't have any past history. However, the team from Shoreline exceeded all expectations with their job performance. Their main task on the project was the removal of 165 boat docks working from the water, and this task had to stay out in front of our placement work of the new earthen dam. Shoreline's crew performed this work with the utmost precision staying out in front of our operation with ease, while completing the work with safety as their number one priority. With performance like this, Shoreline was quickly looked at as a member of the Ruhlin Team on the project and not just another subcontractor. Shoreline brought added value to the project with their vast knowledge of marine work, as they worked alongside us to solve other problems that surfaced as the job progressed. There is not a doubt in my mind that this project would not have been successful as it was if we would not have had Shoreline on our team.
Since the Buckeye Lake Dam Improvement project, we have called on Shoreline numerous times. Their management team of Derek and Suzanne is always professional and responsive to any questions whether it may be a job estimate or marine construction advice, and their crews operate with the utmost professionalism. Spend a Day Marina
Shoreline renovated Spend A Day Marina with concrete seawall, several piers, covered boat docks, and a gas dock.
"We have used Shoreline Construction for multiple projects, both personally and for Spend A Day Marina. Great family business with Derek and his crew capable of planning and executing our more complex projects like our new 100' long concrete fuel pier. In the office Suzanne keeps 'em in line, on time and takes care of all the paperwork. Anyone is welcome to stop by the Marina and take a look at their work. Islander Boatel Condo Association
